EPW - Continental unsigned very small musical quarter repeater in the manner of Piguet & Meylan, 42mm, 18K rose gold OF original consular case with gilt cuvette, KWKS, gold foil dial, cylinder escapement, going barrels for music and time, gilt mvt, s#7 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 37.6 dwt (58.5 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, excellent mvt condition overall; repeat works, but quarters are hard to discern, tone is light, better on resonant surface; good musical function, the shift levers requiring a little adjustment and lubrication; musical tone is surprisingly good when the back is pressed against a resonant surface, otherwise the watch can scarcely be heard; dial excellent, minor overall dings and fluctuations; hands near mint; case shows little wear, few MFS, no dents or dings, complete ET detail; bow tight, pendant shows little wear; good glass crystal.
